I was unable to locate a net terminal Thursday (moving day), so I couldn’t access the net. The network installers don’t come until tomorrow or Tuesday to install router cables. You may be wondering how I’m currently online-my computer runs off of a wireless network (Linsys). Apparently in my new neighborhood several other familys use the Linksys wireless network, and have failed to realize their network connections are unsecure. Enough said. Anyways, now that I’m online, I can at least say how the move went: the 8 hour drive was incredibly boring and I either read, slept, listened to my iPod, stared off into the abyss, or played my younger brother’s PSP (which is quite addictive by-the-way).
Once we arrived we stayed overnight at a very nice hotel. When I say, ‘very nice,’ I mean it in the sense of that because the hotel room had, well 3 rooms (oh, and a little kitchen). The next morning we moved into our new house, and I assisted the movers with unpacking the two trucks for 11 hours. A day has passed since we got all of our stuff and so far, unusually, nothing’s turned up missing. (ha ha) Other than that the move’s been great. I love being a Virginian again (oh, I neglected to mention I moved from South Carolina).
Being the second day, we’re still unpacking all of the boxes. I just finished playing the PS2 for 2 1/2 hours. Ace Combat Zero is one of the best games I’ve ever played. Then I got online, and now I’m here. Ta-da! (ha ha) Maybe I’ll post some pictures of my new house tomorrow, or maybe even later today. I don’t know.
