It’s always come easy to me since my early childhood to manipulate a situation to benefit a certain cause…usually myself. It mainly consists of reading the other person’s thoughts and counter-balnacing their thoughts with your own emotions.
I’ll play with their thoughts. Mingle with their current goal, and give and take it away momentarily until i get the information needed. Of course, it’s not full proof – rarely anything is. I do realize that one of these days there will be no way to alter a situation. So when that happens, even thought I’ll profusley abhor it. My hatred for the matter will not make the slightest difference to whatever will occur.
When that day comes, whether it’s tomorrow or a year, I can say I thought about it. Maybe I should stop being so manipulative. But then again that’s pretty much the only way you can get want you want in our world. So I guess until that day arrives, I’ll remain to manipulate a situation every now-and-then.
